My pictures have been really lacking lately, and that can only mean one thing...that I have been busy "in the moment" living life. Sometimes there just isn't enough time in the day!
But I did make a point to capture this tulip..which was very purple...but I edited it this way because I liked the soft effect it gave, almost a vintage feel.
The dark purple of the flower muted the detail and really just looked like an ordinary tulip. I wanted to create something artsy...almost something you could blow up and put on your wall.
Aaah, Spring...I just love it. I get sad to see the tulips go once summer arrives!
Your edit is very effective. Spring is very special, yet summer will be pleasant too.
